En el 2021, en total se perdieron 174.103 hect\u00e1reas de bosque natural, lo que ser\u00eda equivalente a casi el \u00e1rea de Bogot\u00e1 o al tama\u00f1o de 161 mil canchas de f\u00fatbol.<\/p><p>Las cifras mostradas por el MADS, indican que el departamento de Antioquia perdi\u00f3 2894 hect\u00e1reas menos de bosque y fue el que m\u00e1s redujo su deforestaci\u00f3n (en 2020 hab\u00eda perdido 12.645 hect\u00e1reas), mientras que Caquet\u00e1, en la Amazon\u00eda, perdi\u00f3 5.861 hect\u00e1reas m\u00e1s de bosque (en 2020 perdi\u00f3 32.522 hect\u00e1reas) y present\u00f3 el mayor aumento en el pa\u00eds. Otros de los territorios m\u00e1s impactados fueron Guaviare (25.021 hect\u00e1reas), Putumayo (12.804 hect\u00e1reas) y el sur del Meta, los cuales hacen parte de la selva amaz\u00f3nica.<\/p><p>Adicionalmente, las mencionadas entidades refirieron que, durante el 2021, el 68% de la deforestaci\u00f3n se concentr\u00f3 en 9 n\u00facleos principales, como lo son Sabanas del Yar\u00ed &#8211; Bajo Cagu\u00e1n (19%), Guaviare (Marginal de la selva) (15%), Sur del Meta (11%), Putumayo (5%), Andina Norte \u2013 Catatumbo (6%), Andina Centro Norte &#8211; Nororiente de Antioquia\/Sur de Bol\u00edvar (3%), Pac\u00edfico Sur \u2013 Nari\u00f1o (2%) y Pac\u00edfico Norte (1%) (ver figura anexa).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div la deforestaci\u00f3n en Colombia, se encuentra la praderizaci\u00f3n para acaparamiento de tierras, construcci\u00f3n de v\u00edas no planificadas, ganader\u00eda extensiva no sostenible, cultivos ilegales, expansi\u00f3n de la frontera agr\u00edcola y las talas il\u00edcitas.\u00a0<\/p><p>En consideraci\u00f3n de las cifras presentadas, resulta imperativo tomar medidas frente a la deforestaci\u00f3n, ya que, detenerla, puede abordar significativamente numerosos desaf\u00edos, incluida la protecci\u00f3n de millones de especies animales y vegetales, la reducci\u00f3n del calentamiento global, la mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico, la prevenci\u00f3n de inundaciones, la restauraci\u00f3n de los medios de vida ind\u00edgenas y, sobre todo, la inversi\u00f3n para un futuro m\u00e1s sostenible.<\/p><p><strong>Fuentes: <a
