Seg\u00fan el Grupo Intergubernamental de Expertos sobre el Cambio Clim\u00e1tico (IPCC, 2012), el desorden del clima corresponde a una de las problem\u00e1ticas de mayor importancia que aqueja a la humanidad, raz\u00f3n por la cual, actualmente se aborda en las agendas gubernamentales y no gubernamentales alrededor del mundo.<\/p><p>Por consiguiente, mediante la Ley 164 de 1994, Colombia ratific\u00f3 la Convenci\u00f3n Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre Cambio Clim\u00e1tico\u00a0 (CMNUCC) y, en concordancia con las obligaciones y responsabilidades que el pa\u00eds acepta al estar vinculado, actualiz\u00f3 y present\u00f3 recientemente el tercer <a href=\"https:\/\/unfccc.int\/sites\/default\/files\/resource\/BUR3%20-%20COLOMBIA.pdf\">Informe Bienal de Actualizaci\u00f3n (BUR 3)<\/a> por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s; el cual fue financiado por el Fondo para el Ecosistema Global (GEF), por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s y preparado por el Instituto de Hidrolog\u00eda, Meteorolog\u00eda y Estudios Ambientales (IDEAM), Fundaci\u00f3n Natura, Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD), Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (MADS), Departamento Nacional de Planeaci\u00f3n (DNP) y la Canciller\u00eda.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb39db2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cb39db2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El mencionado informe proporciona a las comunidades, datos abiertos y transparentes, relacionados con las generalidades nacionales (perfiles geogr\u00e1fico, pol\u00edtico-administrativo, clim\u00e1tico, entre otros), inventarios de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) al a\u00f1o 2018, las iniciativas de mitigaci\u00f3n adelantadas por el pa\u00eds en el per\u00edodo 2018-2021, los sistemas de monitoreo, verificaci\u00f3n y reporte concebidos y las necesidades existentes en materia de financiamiento, acceso a tecnolog\u00eda, fortalecimiento de capacidades y el apoyo recibido, los cuales, sin lugar a dudas, son insumos significativos para el seguimiento del cumplimiento de las metas, en particular, las de mitigaci\u00f3n, establecidas en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.minambiente.gov.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/informe-actualizacion-contribucion-determinada-Colombia-ndc-2020.pdf\">Contribuci\u00f3n Determinada a Nivel Nacional (NDC)<\/a> y, asimismo, para combatir el cambio clim\u00e1tico e impulsar un crecimiento econ\u00f3mico m\u00e1s sostenible y bajo en carbono.<\/p><p>Uno de los aspectos de mayor inter\u00e9s y relevancia presentados, consiste en el inventario de emisiones de GEI m\u00e1s reciente de Colombia, ya que reporta que, en el a\u00f1o 2018, se emitieron 302.974 Gg de CO<sub>2 <\/sub>eq, es decir, aproximadamente 303 millones de Ton de CO<sub>2<\/sub> eq, de las cuales, el 70,2 % corresponde al Di\u00f3xido de Carbono (CO<sub>2<\/sub>), el 24,3 % a Metano (CH<sub>4<\/sub>), el 4,4% a \u00d3xido Nitroso (N<sub>2<\/sub>O), el 1,1% a Hidrofluorocarbonos (HFC) y \u00a0perfluorocarbonos (PFC) y el 0,1% a Hexafluoruro de Azufre (SF<sub>6<\/sub>), donde el 59,1 % proviene del sector AFOLU (agricultura, silvicultura, y otros usos de la tierra, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), 30,7 % del sector energ\u00eda, 6,8 % del sector residuos, y 3,5 % de procesos industriales (ver figura 1) (IDEAM, Fundaci\u00f3n Natura, PNUD, MADS, DNP y Canciller\u00eda, 2022).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-05eb7c7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"05eb7c7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"770\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/fedebiocombustibles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/imagen_2022-06-28_191506921.png\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-3035\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fedebiocombustibles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/imagen_2022-06-28_191506921.png 921w, https:\/\/fedebiocombustibles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/imagen_2022-06-28_191506921-300x223.png 300w, https:\/\/fedebiocombustibles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/imagen_2022-06-28_191506921-768x572.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fa9f9ff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fa9f9ff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Figura 1.
